During the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic, beaches around the country found themselves without RNLI cover. With summer in full swing and high seas predicted, many thought this was a recipe for disaster. Rising to the challenge and taking the safety of the community into their own hands, these brave volunteers guarded the shores they love until the RNLI could return.
